Hi!

I’m Lise Ulrich – writer, film critic, and sometimes photographer.

I freelance for a range of Danish and international publications focusing on design, film and television analysis and interviews, pop culture, and travel.

From 2018 – 2022 I co-hosted and produced the weekly film and television podcast Soundvenue Streamer at Soundvenue in Copenhagen. My photography has been exhibited in the UK (including twice at The Royal Photographic Society‘s annual International Photography Exhibition), Denmark and the US, and for several years, fine art photographic works of mine were available at the Danish interior design store BoConcept all over the world.

Outside of my native Denmark I have lived in New Zealand, the UK, and the Netherlands, and hold a BA HONS in Journalism and Media Studies from University of Westminster in London.
